Rebelution has announced the band’s Good Vibes Cali Tour for this August, and the reggae rockers will team with Kolohe Kai, Matisyahu and Cydeways.

As reggae continues to grow in popularity, the roster of top reggae talent expands worldwide. This year, we saw amazing up-and-coming reggae talent and the convergence of reggae, rock, punk rock, and hip hop.

What does your teenage emo pop punk playlist have in common with reggae music? Absolutely nothing … until now! The extremely talented vocalist and lead guitarist of Iya Terra, Nathan Aurora, has created a project and successfully bridged the gap, composing a compilation of some of your favorite songs from a distant past performed by a new community of artists that put their own reggae twist to each of them.

“Lockdown” is Cydeways’ latest banger featuring Matisyahu. The single is the first release ahead of the band’s new album and was released by LAW Records.

Iration is teaming with Artikal Sound System and Cydeways in the “IRL Fall Tour” this October and November! The national tour kicks off in Sacramento mid October and runs through mid November wrapping in Tucson.

Matisyahu is heading out on tour this summer with G. Love & Special Sauce and Cydeways. These artists each bring so much love and energy, so grab your tickets quick!

Without a doubt seeing Rebelution play in front of tens of thousands of fans singing along to every word is one of my favorite reggae concert experiences, but having the opportunity to see Eric Rachmany and Kyle Ahern play a full acoustic guitar set is just as cool! Daily Reggae spoke with The Elovaters’ singer and guitarist, Jackson Wetherbee to learn about the band’s incredible summer including the release of the amazing single, “Gimme Love”, the positive reception for The Elovaters’ 2021 album, “Castles” and growth touring with huge bands like Stick Figure, Dirty Heads, SOJA, Tribal Seeds and Slightly Stoopid.

A great dish is often composed of a variety of flavors that would otherwise conflict if it weren't for the skill and creativity of a talented chef. Music shares this characteristic, especially in the modern age, as the genres that have developed over the past century are now being mixed to create wonderful new songs and releases. On their new full-length album, the American band Cydeways has accomplished exactly that. Blending reggae, pop-punk, hip hop, and alternative rock, Cydeways has created an album that has high energy, moments of calm, and stylistic flow from start to finish.

The Elovaters are heading out on a West Coast and Pacific Northwest tour and it’s a great opportunity to catch many of reggae’s rising stars! During the West Coast leg of the tour they will headline with DENM and you can catch special guest, Cydeways. On the Pacific Northwest portion of the tour, Kyle Smith will be opening!
