This year, we saw amazing up-and-coming reggae talent and the convergence of reggae, rock, punk rock, and hip hop.

RISING ARTIST NOMINEES
Cydeways: Cydeways continues to make a big name for themselves blending reggae, rock and hip hop style vibes. In 2023, the band was featured on some big time national tours, released a string of rad singles, and performed at the influential music festival, Lollapalooza.
EarthKry: EarthKry is hands down one of the best reggae bands in the world and they are incredible representatives for today’s genre and Jamaica’s talented music industry. The band toured a ton in 2023 including nationwide in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. EarthKry’s EP, “Dandy Shandy” was one of our favorite new releases of the year.
F.Y.A.H.: Speaking of up-and-coming Jamaican talent, F.Y.A.H. started taking off in 2023 with a run of amazing singles while collaborating with big names like Steel Pulse and Alborosie.
Blvk H3ro: Hot off last year’s GRAMMY nomination, Blvk H3ro kept his momentum going strong with national tours, and the amazing album, “On A Mission”. The LP blends the best of reggae and dancehall with a new school feeling.
King Cruff: Toronto’s King Cruff unites reggae, hip hop and dancehall, and 2023 was a huge year for the singer-songwriter as he developed and found his sound. We expect big things ahead.
