2023 Daily Reggae “Best Of” Awards: EP of the Year Nominees

A large number of jamming reggae EPs were released this year - pushing and challenging what an artist can get across in a limited format.

A solid EP tells a story that has a listener on the edge of their seat, or at the very least maintains a compelling theme and feel throughout.

Congratulations to the 2023 Daily Reggae “Best Of” Awards EP of the Year Nominees!

  • EarthKry: Dandy Shandy: EarthKry bridges vintage and modern roots reggae music in the Jamaican band’s irie new EP, “Dandy Shandy”. The EP was released by Wash House Music Group and the eight tracks are jamming!

  • Khalia: Stay True: “Stay True” highlights Khalia’s growth and amazing voice. The seven track EP released by Ineffable Records blends reggae, pop and R&B and is an all around amazing vibe.

  • Mike Love: Mike Love (Live at Sugarshack Sessions Vol. 3): Sugarshack Music Channel sets the mood to bring out the best of artists in an intimate setting, and Mike Love shines as one of reggae’s most talented guitarists an singer-songwriters.

  • The Green: Summer Time: Keep good vibes going year round with The Green’s EP, “Summertime”. The Green have been one of my favorite reggae bands for many years, and I love this three track EP, released by Ineffable Records, showcasing the Hawaii reggae rocker’s talent.

  • Shaggy: In The Mood: This seven track EP once again showcases why Shaggy is a cross-genre talent that continues to stay fresh and relevant.
