Stay True” highlights Khalia’s growth and amazing voice. The seven track EP released by Ineffable Records blends reggae, pop and R&B and is an all around amazing vibe.

Big things are ahead for the Jamaican singer - no doubt!

The EP kicks off with the gorgeous song “Waiting On You” highlighting a search for love and the importance of staying patient. Khalia’s voice is the star of the show and is so powerful over the jamming riddim. This is such a feel good love song.

Didn’t I” slows down the pace and you’ll feel the thumping bass line. Khalia once again brings so much passion to her vocals and I love her ability to mix up the pace while singing. She once again reflects on new love.

Khalia teams with Mortimer in a track about continuing to believe in love. “Tings & Time” has an irie drum pattern and these two stars’ voices complement one another so well.

Reggae icon Shaggy is featured in the song “Double Trouble” highlighting a relationship that is fun but is likely not the best fit. I really like the hook Shaggy sings!

The EP’s title track has some lovely piano and guitar. It’s another song that perfectly fits Khalia’s voice and emphasizes the importance of standing up for yourself and only settling for true love. The song has an empowering message and I think you’ll really connect with it.

Speaking of another Jamaican rising star, Blvk H3ro is featured on “Go” and the collab makes for a jamming duet. I could see these two making a full EP that would go hard!

Slow down and turn this EP up! Khalia takes major steps in her journey as an artist and I can’t wait to hear what’s next!
