Daily Reggae interviewed TreeHouse! frontman Jeremy Anderson (aka Positive J) to hear about the band’s new singles, collaborations and live shows. The Myrtle Beach, South Carolina-based band is releasing some amazing reggae rock with new tunes on the way!

The time is almost here and I’m so excited! Stick Figure’s new album “Wisdom” will be released in one week on September 9, 2022. Over the years Stick Figure has risen to reggae superstardom and the band deserves all the accolades and more! When I listen to Stick Figure, I’m transported into such a beautiful place. Scott Woodruff and band members including KBong and Johnny Cosmic always bring the good vibes and their reggae riddims are legendary.

Push away any obstacles you face and stress less by listening to Skip Marley’s new single, “Jane” featuring Ayra Starr. “Jane” has a beautiful reggae riddim and I love the collaboration of Marley and Starr. Starr hails from Nigeria and her incredible singing compliments Skip Marley’s vocals so well.

Hailing from Nigeria, Baba Kuboye shines in the dance friendly new album, “From Ikoyi with Horns”. The singer-songwriter and talented saxophonist based in Dallas has such a cool musical style marrying afrobeats, dancehall, and reggae. We are absolutely jamming to this amazing seven track album, which was released by Down 4 Whateva Entertainment / ONErpm.

Dirty Heads just have it! What is it? An incredible amount of musical talent, a passion to release amazing music, and incredible songwriting chops. The vibes are so on point in the band’s new album “Midnight Control”. Dirty Heads are truly a genre blending band bringing together the best of reggae, hip hop, rock and pop.

Virginia-based band Last Resort showcase their jamming style of reggae rock infused with dub in the new EP, “Other Side Of The World”. The five track EP is super rad and portrays the band’s talented musicianship. This is a great EP to throw on during any time of day, especially as you soak in sun and relaxation.

Tunnel Vision perfectly blend reggae and punk rock in the terrific new album “Baja Bound” released by LAW Records. If you’re looking for some good vibes, rocking guitars and to day dream across the border to beautiful Mexican beaches, turn this album up!

Soulful singer-songwriter Mortimer reflects on life in the brilliant new single, “Whole Heap”. The song is the first single to drop ahead of Mortimer’s new album to be released by Overstand Entertainment / Easy Star Records, and we love what we hear! “Whole Heap” blends reggae with a hint of R&B and showcases Mortimer’s talent as an artist.

Tropidelic’s evolution has been so fun to watch and the Cleveland-based band’s new album, “All The Colors” takes them from the big leagues to a true reggae rock heavy hitter.

If you’ve ever been to Bayfest, you know the Outside Shows team puts on a rocking music experience! Following up the most recent Bayfest, San Diego’s inaugural Mission Bayfest has a cool lineup including Dirty Heads, Thievery Corporation and Tribal Seeds! This one day festival taking place on September 24, 2022 is going to bring so many good vibes and also features more fan favorites like Through The Roots and Bikini Trill!

The Dualers’ new album “Voices from the Sun” is a brilliant piece of art. The band will brighten your days with this gem of a record blending reggae, ska and rock in such a cool way. The 14 track record brings nearly an hour of new music. The album has the old school reggae feel we love with thoughtful but simple lyrics, outstanding musicianship and an all around good time. 

Reggae stars Protoje, Jesse Royal and Lila Iké have released nationwide “The Lost In Time Tour” dates. This is going to be a fall reggae tour you will not want to miss! Protoje and Royal released a new single titled, “Family” and the song has a really cool vibe and message. The song is the third single released ahead of Protoje’s upcoming album due out in September via In.Digg.Nation Collective and RCA Records!

Reggae icon Jimmy Cliff shines in his new album, “Refugees”. Cliff has one of the deepest reggae music catalogs and best voices across all music genres. “Refugees” is a gorgeous album that has the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer touch on so many important topics. The quality of the album is a perfect example of why I’m so proud to be a reggae music fan. Cliff is a generational talent and this is an album I’ll be listening to often!
