Mighty Mystic showcases ‘Hard Roots’ sound in Far from Jamaica featuring Sizzla and Tyler Loyal
Mighty Mystic masterfully blends roots reggae, hip hop, and rock music, and his ‘Hard Roots’ sound is on full display in the artist’s latest single, Far from Jamaica, featuring Sizzla and Tyler Loyal. Check out the song’s awesome lyric video, which premiered on Reggaeville, to take in the vibes! Far From Jamaica is one of the cool new songs that Mystic will feature in his upcoming album, Giant, due out March 18th.
In a release sent to Dailyreggae.com, Mighty Mystic said, “There is truly something for everyone on this album. If you love rock and roll there are two or three heavy rock-influenced tracks waiting for you (“King me Now”). If you’re a fan of ballads you will enjoy “Michael”. Pop? Yeah we have that as well in “Giant” and “Nervous.” And off course we have the classic reggae in songs like “Goshen” and “Far from Jamaica”. All you have to do is open your mind and dive in – no swimsuit needed.”
The 13 song album, which is Mystic’s fifth, was recorded at Maritime Music Studio in Peabody MA, and Mystics’ vocals were recorded at Surefire Creative Studios in Lowell, MA.
We are excited to listen to Giant soon!
