They both completely own this song and will brining you goose bumps / all the feels when you listen!

Atlanta’s Piper Street Sound has dropped a grooving new EP, “Hulusi”. Talented musician, Matt Mansfield is able to blend reggae and dub while layering together different production vibes like analog, digital and analog. The vibes are so nice! General Pecos, Andy Bassford, and Subatomic Sound System collaborate with Piper Street Sound and as soon as you turn on the EP, you’ll feel instant relaxation!

Dalwayne and Irie Yutes Tapes recently dropped the single “Big Song” and the riddim produced and mixed by Phillip McFarlane is by far one of the best riddims of 2022. A riddim can make a song and McFarlane showcases his extreme talent creating one of the most intricate riddims I’ve ever heard with so many cool layers.

I recently had my first opportunity to see Dub Inc perform a set in-person. The band was on tour with Mike Love, and my friends and I were amazed by their incredible energy, talent and passion. We instantly became huge fans! The Saint-Etiennem, France hailing band’s eighth studio album, “Futur” is their latest reggae masterpiece, which shares a beautiful and important message of unity and bringing people closer together.

Daily Reggae spoke with Kabaka Pyramid to discuss the talented Jamaican artist and producer’s new album, “The Kalling”, Pyramid’s current U.S. nationwide tour, and to hear his advice for up-and-coming artists. Pyramid collaborated with Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley on his new album, which Marley produced!

Following the impact of Hurricane Ian, the incredible Sugarshack Music Channel has launched some new merch design to support the community of Bonita Springs, Florida. Daily Reggae caught up with SunDub’s Joanna Teters (lead vocals) and Ben Teters (vocals and drums) to discuss the band’s creative process, inspiration, and upcoming album. The album, “Spirits Eat Music” will be released by Easy Star Records and was recorded at Lydgate Sound in Kauai, Hawaii.

Iya Terra guitarist and vocalist, Nick Sefakis is one of the best guitarists in the reggae circuit today, and Sefakis’ passion as a reggae musician is always strongly felt at his live shows, and in recordings. Sefakis’ new solo album, “Hear My Sound” is a reflection of love, strength and growth and showcases the musician’s development as a songwriter and artist.

Ballyhoo! has put a fun reggae spin on the blink-182 classic, “Dammit”. I love when reggae bands bring new life into punk rock gems and since Ballyhoo! naturally blends reggae and punk rock, they were the perfect band to do this song justice and breathe new life into the jam.

Coming hot off an opening spot on Rebelution’s Good Vibes Summer Tour 2022, the talented DENM has dropped fall tour dates and will be teaming up with Boostive and Jakob Nowell. The seven date tour kicks off in Crystal Bay, Nevada on November 11 and wraps on November 19 in Santa Ana, California.

Thrive and Ethan Tucker have released the “Storyteller” Fall Tour dates! These are going to be some really fun shows that will make a great night out. Thrive continues to release incredible reggae rock music. I am especially loving their new single, “Look At Me Now”, which has a cool and artistic music video.

Santa Cruz has honored reggae rock legends, The Expendables, naming September 30 “Expendables Day”! The band said in a Facebook post, “Honored to say that Sept. 30th is officially Expendables Day! We love you Santa Cruz, thank you for all your support since we started the band and for this amazing honor.”

HIRIE released her new album, “Mood Swing” today while elevating her star power to the next level! If you’ve ever been to an HIRIE concert you know that she and her band consistently bring some of the highest energy in the reggae scene and I absolutely think this is their best album yet.

Alyze Di Singer is one of the most soulful singers in the reggae scene and he has released a heartfelt new love song titled, “Why I Love You” that you cannot help but fall in love with! This is the perfect song to share with your special someone and to remind them how important they are to you.

Are you looking to extend summer vibes year round? A good starting point can be listening to Soul Majestic’s single, “Blue Summer”. The reggae band hails from Santa Barbara and I’m really loving this laid back tune! Soul Majestic’s sound is so relaxing and you cannot help but picture a clear blue sky and waves crashing against the sand at your favorite beach while listening!

Shav A has released a gorgeous new single “Fire Woman” empowering women to reach for their dreams. Shav A is an amazingly talented artist and vocalist, and I applaud her for sending such an uplifting message to all of our incredible women around the world! The single was released by Ice Don Productions and Shav A shared a reflection on the song’s message with Daily Reggae.

Ahead of his new album dropping next week, “The Kalling”, Kabaka Pyramid has set national dates for “The Kalling” tour, which will feature Jordan T on the West Coast shows and Nattali Rize during the East Coast gigs. The tour begins October 4 in Seattle and wraps November 12 in Daytona, Florida. These are going to be some fun shows, and a great chance to hear Kabaka Pyramid’s new music.

Dry Diggings 2022 was incredible! The four day reggae music festival was held September 1 - September 4 in Grass Valley and so many amazing artists and bands performed.
