The Movement have made their “Visions” a reality in new album
The Movement have made their “Visions” a reality in the band’s new album. I’ve always enjoyed their music and I’m so impressed by their dedication and constant growth into the band they are today. Every aspect is on full display in “Visions”.
Their music helps us through the ups and downs and enjoying the journey is a key message to The Movement’s music. You really feel this in the chill track, “Putting Up 2”.
This song has such an amazing beat that will have you moving to the rhythm and Joshua Swain’s voice is out of this world good!
Speaking of super cool beats and a lyric master class by Swain, the album’s title track is one of the best reggae rock tunes that I’ve ever heard!
The song reminds us to slow down, listen and chase our dreams - no matter how big they might seem! Stick Figure was the perfect collaborator on the big time tune and I can’t wait to hear this one live!
“So Cool” is another tune with a contagious riddim, jamming reggae rock guitar strums and an epic vocal collaboration between Swain and 311’s Nick Hexum. The bass line will have you grooving and feeling the positive energy. This song will inspire you to slow down and live in the present while enjoying new beginnings.
This album has amazing production and each song is so crisp! You also feel the band’s encouragement to keep going even when the nights seem long. “Make It Through” is another motivational tune to help listeners stay strong when missing those special people in our lives.
The Movement’s music means so much to people around the world. When you’re at their shows, you really feel the community they’ve built through music. “Visions” showcases their best music to date and it’s such an exciting time to be their fan!
