Reggae legend Johnny Osbourne’s latest album, “Right Right Time” is an instant classic.

The talented singer songwriter teamed up with the French Connexion Band and the collaboration created a fresh sound that is amongst the best new reggae that I’ve heard in recent years.

The album, released by by Easy Star Records / Baco Records, kicks off with the powerful track, “Strange”, a reflection of the state of the world today and a call to come together for the better. I love the song’s horns, jamming drums and Osbourne’s soulful voice and lyrics.

In “Trust No One”, Osbourne picks up the pace and sends a reminder to stay cautious and push way negativity. The song has a grooving bass line and highlights Osbourne’s star power vocals.

Love emerges strongly in the island vibe filled track, “Peace And Love”. Osbourne has a unique ability to inspire and carry a tune with his vocals and you’ll love this stand out track’s horns and message.

Hold that special someone close and feel the love by listening to “Angel In My Arms”. This song has another incredible bass line and is super fun to single along to any time of day!

My favorite track on the album is the motivational song, “Get Up”. This song send an important reminder to help others in need and push away selfish tendencies. It’s an important song and Osbourne’s voice and energy carry it all the way through.

Cool down the pace and hold the hand of your loved one while listening to “In Your Eyes”,  a gorgeous love song by Osbourne that showcases the talent of the French Connexion Band!

Osbourne inspires us to act now and to act with love. “Right Time” closes out this instant classic and will make you nod your head and dance to the groove and reggae keys.
