Dailyreggae.com caught up with Sofar Sounds’ Christen Taylor (artist name: Like Water) to learn about Sofar’s unique global music community, her music, and new album, She Called It Noise, and how the reggae community can get involved in Sofar Sounds.

Summer is inching closer, and Space Kamp is bringing the good vibes in its latest single Waiting for Summer, which is making us envision a sandy beach and warm sunny day. Space Kamp, made up of Oskee and Adoo, truly has a unique sound connecting reggae, hip hop, and rock music. It’s exciting to hear Space Kamp is also currently working on a new album called Butterfly Effect (BE).

Jamaican reggae musician, Jesse Royal recently released a fire new single Rich Forever featuring Vybz Kartel. The song was released April 16, 2021, and the same day Royal’s sophomore album, Royal, was announced. Royal is scheduled for June 11th and will be released via Easy Star Records.

Cygnill caught up with Pacific Roots at Viva Iriezona to chat about their new live album, Pacific Roots (Recorded Live at Felton Music Hall) released by Ineffable Records on April 23, 2021. When you listen to the album Never Give Up by Dub Drums you hear the passion in JDR’s voice, feel the creative drum beats hit, and are taken into a unique musical experience. The album released on April 11 blends rock, pop, dub with a touch of reggae. We enjoyed vibing to JDR’s passionate songs. Some of the songs are strictly instrumental while others feature JDR singing.

In a Facebook post this week, California Roots announced that Fortunate Youth has been added to Roaring Camp Railroads in Felton, California! The band joins an already epic lineup of bands including Tribal Seeds, The Expendables, Iya Terra, and The Movement that will perform during the concert series.
