Jesse Royal releases fire single Rich Forever with new album Royal on the way
Jamaican reggae musician, Jesse Royal recently released a fire new single Rich Forever featuring Vybz Kartel. The song was released April 16, 2021, and the same day Royal’s sophomore album, Royal, was announced. Royal is scheduled for June 11th and will be released via Easy Star Records.
Rich Forever features Royal’s smooth vocals and a fast-paced verse by Vybz Kartel over a cool hip-hop style beat with a reggae and dance hall flare.
According to a press release sent to Dailyreggae.com, “This cross-genre collaboration between both artists unifies people's differences to support a common goal - to be ‘forever royal’ It serves as a reminder of the internal strength and mental fortitude human beings possess, which prepares them for success in a society designed for their failure.”
In the release, Royal said, “Rich Forever is a divergence from identifying with the degradation dispersed for generations by them and those who oppose reality and simply put, it is a conversation about restoration of our royalty and reclaiming dignity.”
