Dukes Of Roots is set to drop the band’s debut album on Feb. 28. They have quickly become one of my favorite reggae bands on the scene and bring such a soulful and conscious message to their songs.

Virginia-based band Last Resort showcase their jamming style of reggae rock infused with dub in the new EP, “Other Side Of The World”. The five track EP is super rad and portrays the band’s talented musicianship. This is a great EP to throw on during any time of day, especially as you soak in sun and relaxation.

Soulful singer-songwriter Mortimer reflects on life in the brilliant new single, “Whole Heap”. The song is the first single to drop ahead of Mortimer’s new album to be released by Overstand Entertainment / Easy Star Records, and we love what we hear! “Whole Heap” blends reggae with a hint of R&B and showcases Mortimer’s talent as an artist.

Sensamotion’s reggae rock sound is uplifting. The Atlantic City, New Jersey rockers’ new album, “Life in True Color” shines a light on the ups and downs of life. It reminds us of a colorful walk down the AC boardwalk taking in the emotions and celebrating the beauty around us. In the album, Sensamotion brilliantly infuses reggae, rock and dub. The band shows off their guitar chops, song writing, and on-point grooves.

When you listen to reggae musician, Tenor Blue, you hear deep into his soul. The talented artist’s passionate delivery and lyrics make you pause and take in the beauty of his songs. We are absolutely loving Tenor Blue’s new single, “You Don’t Love Like I Do”, which is a powerful song hitting at our heartstrings. We caught up with Tenor to learn about his new single, and journey making the music he loves.

Just in time for summer, Stick Figure release “Way of Life” featuring Slightly Stoopid. The single has us feeling ready for summer vibes and follows Stick Figure’s collaboration with Slightly Stoopid in fan favorite track, “World on Fire”. Way of Life highlights Stick Figure’s distinctive sound and another classic reggae riddim.

Nattali Rize and Mike Love send an inspiring message to never give up in the new single, “Believer”. In the song’s chorus, Rize powerfully sings, “I'm a Believer, I believe the life we have is ours to make. Everyday. I'm a Believer, there is no time to waste so make a start today.” What an incredible message and an important one as we all face obstacles between our dreams. Believer is a beautiful song and Rize and Love together shine so bright lyrically and in their passionate deliveries.

DMP and Iyaz’s new song, Long Way Home, is straight fire! DMP is short for Doorman’s Project, an incredible band from the Solomon Islands. The single will be one of the featured tracks on DMP’s upcoming album to be released by Ineffable Records. Long Way Home features a beautiful reggae riddim, and the song has such a positive message. Sometimes we all need a break and taking the long way home can help give us time to think. DMP and Iyaz showcase wonderful vocals in this love song.

Roots of Creation and Brett Wilson turn negative into positive in the new single, Ocean Moon. The reggae rockers blend reggae, EDM, pop, and dub and the song features RoC’s classic irie bass lines and rocking guitar. Collie Buddz collaborates with Bounty Killer and Massive B in his latest single, Twisted Agenda, released by Harper Digital. Twisted Agenda features an irie reggae riddim, a classic Collie Buddz hook, and highlights Bounty Killer’s vocal style. Bobby Konders aka Massive B is one of the top producers in reggae music, and Twisted Agenda goes hard!
