Rebelution has announced the band’s Good Vibes Cali Tour for this August, and the reggae rockers will team with Kolohe Kai, Matisyahu and Cydeways.

Kolohe Kai responds to the devasting Maui fires with new single “Too Close Too Home”. In a Facebook post he says the “song written with the deepest sympathies and condolences for all of you who were devastated by the Maui Fires. We can’t imagine the loss and pain you’re going thru. But we really wanted to record something to help comfort you in any way”

This week’s song is “Hope” by Kolohe Kai. In his newest single, the Hawaiian artist pleads for peace in his signature smooth delivery. The rocking reggae instrumental was produced by Noah Cronin of Sea Major Seven Studio and provides a slight edge that drives the message home. Stream “Hope” now!

September’s Holo Holo Music Festival features a jamming lineup of artists like Kolohe Kai, J Boog, Common Kings, and Mike Love. The two day festival on the Old Sacramento Waterfront runs September 9th and 10th!

The incredible Hawaiin singer was inspired to create the song to empower our youth to believe in themselves and not worry about pressure to fit any particular mold. The single is the first leading up to Kolohe Kai’s album due out later this year. Another week is upon us and a fun way to start it is by listening to Drumwise’s incredible new Reflection Riddim album featuring reggae stars and bands Through The Roots, Inna Vision, The Steppas, Suckarie, and Jemere Morgan. Drumwise is the stage name for reggae musician and producer Calvin Canha, who dropped the riddim on July 30th via Greenstone and his new Drumwise label. Other artists featured include Siaosi, Peetah Morgan, and Chante.
