Reggae Vibes Music has dropped the irie Rock All Riddim featuring reggae stars Sizzla, Richie Spice, Lutan Fyah, Anthony B, and Turbulence. The American based roots label said in a release sent to Dailyreggae.com, “The Rock All Riddim has new music from Richie Spice, Snatcha Lion and Fiyaneer, who are all from the Rock Hall district in the hills of St. Andrew. It was Fiyaneer who suggested dropping the "H" and using "Rock All" to symbolize that reggae music is for all people. Hence the name Rock All Riddim.” We are loving the beautiful music, and listening to each artist’s unique spin on the riddim is a fun experience!

While the global pandemic helped bring reggae fans an abundance of wonderful studio music from their favorite bands, it also starved them of the live reggae music they crave. Perhaps the epitome of this musical withdrawal was the postponement of the now legendary Cali Roots Festival. But fans need not wait any longer! The Cali Roots team is bringing us a series of festivals dubbed "Cali Roots Sessions" leading up to the large festival occurring in 2022, and the first is being held in San Francisco on October 23rd & 24th, 2021.

The weekend is here and what could be more fun than listening to your favorite artists putting their unique spins on the Cali Roots Riddim 2021 produced by Collie Buddz and Johnny Cosmic! The riddim is straight fire and it’s so cool listening to the 26 different artists and their unique takes on the riddim. If you haven’t heard of a riddim before, you can think of it as a beat, or how the hip hop genre defines a beat. Each song takes a different journey. Dan is one of the most important people in the reggae scene today and is responsible for the California Roots Music & Art Festival! To accompany his profile, Dan requested Cygnill do a song breakdown of Anthony B and Massive B’s killer track, Back To Normal.

On April 30th, Street Rockaz Family released the TK Riddim featuring four songs from artists including Anthony B, Mr Williamz, Stranjah Miller, and Ilements. The TK riddim is a catchy riddim at the intersection of reggae and hip hop. It’s fun listening to a compilation like this one and to hear each of the artist’s unique spin on the music.
