While the global pandemic helped bring reggae fans an abundance of wonderful studio music from their favorite bands, it also starved them of the live reggae music they crave. Perhaps the epitome of this musical withdrawal was the postponement of the now legendary Cali Roots Festival. But fans need not wait any longer! The Cali Roots team is bringing us a series of festivals dubbed "Cali Roots Sessions" leading up to the large festival occurring in 2022, and the first is being held in San Francisco on October 23rd & 24th, 2021.

Occurring at the awesome venue, The Midway, in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco, the lineup of this festival is absolutely stellar!

The Saturday lineup will feature Maoli, Fiji, CRSB, Western Conference, Big Body Cisco and Westafa, with Hawaiian reggae heavyweights The Green and the incredible J Boog closing out the night!

Sunday will be headlined by the one and only Stephen Marley, with Anthony B, Yellowman, Don Carlos, Arise Roots, Jah Warrior Shelter Hi-Fi, Rocker-T, Irie Dole, Jah Yzer, and King I-Vier supporting!

What we love about Cali Roots is how they are the showcase of American reggae talent while also bringing much deserved attention to American audiences of the Jamaican artists that are the pioneers and legends of reggae music; a methodology that is apparent in the artists performing at the Cali Roots San Francisco sessions.

The music will bump, the drinks will flow, and the vibrations will be good in San Francisco this October 23rd/24th no doubt!

Tickets are available for each day individually and for the entire weekend at https://www.californiarootspresents.com/event/cali-roots-sessions-san-francisco/

VIP tickets for Saturday are already sold out, so get your tickets quick before they're gone!

Someone To Love by Stephen Marley is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
