Stemming from St. Petersburg, Florida, The Hip Abduction are blending musical genres including reggae, alternative rock, and pop. As the holiday weekend winds down, throw on the band’s new song Pacific Coast Highway featuring Trevor Hall, which takes us on a ride down the California coast. The song has a super chill backyard barbecue vibe, rocking guitar riddim, and we are loving the band’s cross-genre sound.

This is our first time listening to the band and definitely plan to check out their albums this week! The band released To the Ends of the Earth in 2019, THA Live in 2018, Gold Under the Glow in 2016, and more.

Catch The Hip Abduction at Red Rocks this August, where they are playing with Slightly Stoopid, Citizen Cope, and Fortunate Youth.

Pacific Coast Highway by The Hip Abduction featuring Trevor Hall is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
