Pepper’s roots are deeply rooted in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, and six years ago the incredible reggae rock band were honored by the state of Hawaii. Hawaii named April 29th “Pepper Day” to celebrate Pepper’s amazing contributions to the music industry and their pride repping Hawaii around the world.

In a post on the band’s Facebook page, they said, “With so much love and gratitude to our home state of Hawaii, we're so honored 4/29 is Pepper Day back home. It is also our 6 year anniversary of our album "Ohana". Which gives perfect meaning to how we feel everyday to the #PepperOhana and especially on this Holiday. Showing you all some throwback photos to the day it became official!”

Huge congrats to Pepper on this well deserved recognition! To celebrate, we are jamming Ohana today!

Wait” by Pepper is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
