New Reb’s latest album “Optimystic Future” blends reggae and hip hop and features reggae stars like The Late Ones, Indubious, Dan Kelly, and Dread Kennedy. We’ve been grooving to Optimystic Future and appreciate New Reb’s musicianship, flow, and hustle. Dailyreggae.com caught up with New Reb and learned Drew Misik, the leader and front man of the group, has been making music since 1994.

Drew said he put his music career on the back burner while raising his son, who recently turned 18. Much respect! Drew’s patience and dedication to his craft is now bringing us incredible music.

New Reb teamed with Lew Richards, who has produced Fortunate Youth, and we are loving the album’s smooth sound.

Chris Berry is featured on four of the album’s eleven songs, and we especially love Deep Down in Zion!

New Reb has six shows coming up this month and will be touring in California, Colorado, and Nebraska. Grab your tickets by visiting https://www.newreb.com.

Experience” by New Reb featuring Indubious is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
