Driven by his relationship with Rastafari, Kxng Izem releases The Ruler
Driven by his relationship with Rastafari, Kxng Izem has released the new single, The Ruler. Dailyreggae.com connected with the Jamaican artist to learn about The Ruler’s inspiration. The Ruler features a super nice reggae riddim and showcases Izem’s passion and superb vocals. The song was produced by Ten24 Music.
“The song was initially written to be a part of a mixtape which my team and I decided to hold back on. I was listening to the riddim in the morning after I just woke up and the lyrics came out just as my morning started. The inspiration really just came from how I was feeling at the moment. The song seeks to let people know that the music I make is driven by my relationship with Rastafari and so the messages for the most part always reflect that and my movement as a stylistic pioneer for my generation.”
