2025 Daily Reggae Awards “Rising Artist of the Year” Nominees

The reggae music genre has so many incredibly talented artists around the world.

There are numerous up-and-coming artists in today’s scene and it’s so fun to see their rise.

These artists really caught our attention this year! Here are the Nominees for the 2025 Daily Reggae “Rising Artist of the Year”.

Tenelle: In 2025, Tenelle released a new album titled “Home” and her vocals shine so bright. She is an absolutely amazing artist and her voice is one of my favorites in reggae today.

Rik Jam: It’s been fun following Rik Jam’s rise and his hard work is earning well deserved reggae fans worldwide. The Jamaican artist released “The Genesis” LP via Irie Yute Tape this year and it highlights Rik Jam’s talent as a lyricist and singer. 

Royal Blu: Royal Blu impressed while showcasing depth in the album “Spain Root”. The Jamaican artist is able to inspire listeners while taking us on a journey from growing up in Jamaica’s Spanish Town to life today on the stage performing in front of fans in Kingston. 

Gus Walker: Dutch artist Gus Walker delivers a smooth, uplifting vibe in his catchy style of reggae. Listeners are connecting with his ability to blend reggae warmth with soulful R&B and hip-hop grooves. 

Rome: Rome’s talent as a songwriter and producer was on full display in 2025. I love Rome’s cross genre sound uniting reggae, pop and even some of his Nashville feels.
