Every once in a while, there’s an album created that’s just full to the brim with tracks that could easily be top notch singles, every last one of them, as if it were a “greatest hits” compilation.

The Elovaters have decided to drop an album that lives up to that exact description! Endless Summer, released on Belly Full Records, showcases the incredible talent and vision these guys have worked so hard to perfect throughout the album’s fourteen cuts.

So what’s so special about this one? I’m not sure I could put my finger on any one thing within the tracklist, or single out the exact ingredients in the recipe, but the whole thing is just so good! I’ve spun this record enough times to surely become the top listener on Spotify, and have yet to hit the skip button on any song to “get to the ones I like”. The music is rich, full-bodied and thoroughly addictive!

What’s an endless summer without friends? Funky hip-hop duo Little Stranger makes an appearance on a track titled “All Her Favorite Songs”, one of the singles released ahead of the album. A saucy little jam that pays homage to some proverbial artists and songs known for enhancing a romantic mood via the airwaves. Watch your hips, they may start moving without you realizing it!

Ten songs into the album, Surfer Girl joins The Elovaters and together go on a “Mind Bender”, looking to expand views and feel the goodest of good. Sometimes you just gotta get your head right, and ride the vibes of the night in front of you. Flowy lyrical cadences and a catchy chorus keep me coming back for more of this tune.

I remember days when we rolled out / staring at the sun blowing smoke out / you live in my mind that’s with no doubt… Lookout for “Red Wine”, it’s baby-makin’ music at its smoothest. Light the fire, pour a glass and grab your lover; it’s time to relax and enjoy the dark hours to this ultra-suave love ballad…

Unprovoked and more than willing, I’m always going to let you in on my personal fave. This one comes in at number five on the tracklist and goes by “Roll Up” – three minutes and twenty-two seconds of high energy perfection that can be interpreted in a couple ways. I’m choosing that the tune is about Mary Jane; whether it’s a beautiful woman or a mason jar full of green, both of these things can have green eyes and red hair as well as an undeniable ability to provide a soothing getaway from daily grind and transport you to the heavens, just by rolling up.

Holdin’ it down for the east coast, The Elovaters have been popping out intoxicating American progressive roots music under the name since 2017, and it doesn’t seem like they’re going to stray from the path anytime soon. From The Cornerstone to Endless Summer, the entirety of their collection thus far has been a success amongst their over 700,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone.

Kick back, roll up and stream the hell out of Endless Summer, you won’t regret any bit of it. While you’re at it, check out their online merch store and show your support! (https://the-elovaters.myshopify.com/)
