Joey Calderaio and his rising band take us on a beautiful journey in the new album, “Chasing Constellations” released today. Calderaio, based in Jupiter, Florida, is a talented songwriter, vocalist and band leader, who has had a big year of growth. “Chasing Constellations” is one of 2022’s best reggae rock albums and highlights Calderio’s musicianship, poetic lyrics, and easy listening style of music.

Signal Fire’s latest album “Rhythm of Life” is an inspiring 10 track body of work with amazing songwriting, instrumentation and good vibes. The North Carolina-based reggae rock band gives us strength in difficult times and sends messages of positivity.

“The Kalling” is Kabaka Pyramid’s vibing new album, which was produced by Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and cements Pyramid as one of reggae’s new stars. Pyramid finds his artistic groove in “The Kalling” and his vocals are so on point!

Jamaica’s Tanya Stephens’ new album, “Some Kinda Madness” is absolutely brilliant and highlights her soulful lyrics and amazing voice. Take “Be Who We Be” the album’s first track. The song has a simple acoustic guitar and Tanya’s voice accompanies the guitar so nicely while sharing a message of belief in ourselves. It’s a reoccurring theme heard across the album highlighting the importance of trust and love.

Britain’s Tippa Irie is an incredibly talented singer, songwriter and DJ and I love the contemplation of his roots in the new album, “I’m An African” released by TIM Records. Tippa has been creating music for four decades and his latest album showcases his creativity, lyrics and talent as a singer.

Fresh off the release of her incredible new album, “Mood Swing”, Daily Reggae caught up with the amazing HIRIE to learn about her song writing process, the album’s development, and life touring with many of reggae’s biggest artists!

The Cali Vibes 2023 lineup is amazing with reggae stars like Jack Johnson, Rebelution, Tash Sultana and Stick Figure set to perform! Goldenvoice (the organizer of Coachella) announced the festival lineup this week, which will take place February 17 - 19 in Long Beach, CA at Marina Green Park.

Space Kamp is one of the first duo’s that we covered at Daily Reggae. It’s been nearly two years, and it’s been so much fun following their growth and passion. Space Kamp blends reggae, rock, hip hop and electronic music, and the duo’s latest album, “Butterfly Effect (BE)” cements their (Adoo and Oskee’s) place in the budding reggae rock and hip hop scene. 

Lila Iké has teamed up with producer, Sean Alaric in the new dancehall style song, “Dinero”. In the single, released by In.Digg.Nation Collective / RCA Records, Iké encourages hard work and following your dreams. I really love the riddim and Lila Iké delivers amazing vocals and passion. It’s a great song to inspire your hustle this week!

This week’s Daily Reggae Song Of The Week is “New Ways to Love” by SunDub featuring Peetah Morgan. The single released by Easy Star Records has an irie riddim, and showcases the incredible vocals of SunDub’s Joanna Teters and Morgan Heritage’s Peetah Morgan!

Hawaii’s Willz and Maile have put a brilliant island spin on Chicago’s classic, “You’re the Inspiration”. The single release by Wash House Music and produced by The Greenstone Group shows off the absolutely gorgeous voices of Willz and Maile. They both completely own this song and will brining you goose bumps / all the feels when you listen!
