Joey Calderaio and his rising band take us on a beautiful journey in the new album, “Chasing Constellations” released today. Calderaio, based in Jupiter, Florida, is a talented songwriter, vocalist and band leader, who has had a big year of growth. “Chasing Constellations” is one of 2022’s best reggae rock albums and highlights Calderio’s musicianship, poetic lyrics, and easy listening style of music.

The album’s title track, “Chasing Constellations” dives in with some amazing guitar and then you’re immediately struck by Calderaio’s ability to open up and sing in a way where it makes a listener feel like he’s speaking directly to them rather than just singing lyrics. That’s a unique ability and this is a great new song about staying true to the life path that you’re inspired to take.

Speaking of amazing reggae rockers, Ballyhoo! teams up with Calderaio in the fun and upbeat song, “Wave of Life”. Calderio speaks about taking time and believing in yourself even when life’s waves bring obstacles. It’s a song about having faith and I love the smooth guitar work and the powerful horns in this track.

If you’re interested in hearing some of the best reggae rock guitar of the year, look no further than “Foolish Games”. This song is completely rad and communicates an important message about standing up for your rights and pushing away bad leadership. Calderaio’s bandmate Easton Summas drops the shredding guitar solo and Iya Terra’s Nathan Aurora was the perfect feature.
