Boston band The Elovaters have been the rising star of the American Reggae scene for the past couple of years, a status well deserved with their professional-grade musicianship, quality songwriting, and consistent touring opening for major acts such as Pepper and Ziggy Marley that led to headlining tours of their own for their ever-growing fanbase. With all this said, it's in their new album Castles that we see the band truly coming into their own and delivering an album showcasing a broad and unique sound that will surely lock in their place as major players in modern American Reggae music.

It’s always fun to hear a new rendition of one of our favorite reggae classics! Stick Figure and Johnny Cosmic have teamed up to bring an irie, dub-infused version of Bob Marley’s song Sun Is Shining to life.

Northern Colorado reggae band Inside the Mind recently released a cool song called No Place. According to the band, “The song is dedicated to those who feel like they have been dealt a bad hand and have no place to go. Hoping to bring some light on those who have no place to call home.” The band also released a music video; definitely check it out! We are digging the song’s reggae riddim, and thoughtful lyrics.

Kauai-based musician, Zech, collaborated with his team at Kawaiola Productions and producer, Kawaiola Yaris, to release his first live track, Different Worlds. We are absolutely loving this beautiful new song and the relaxing vibes it brings. Different Worlds has an irie reggae riddim, rocking solo guitar, and Zech’s voice brings the descriptive lyrics to life.

Reggae at Red Rocks is a legendary staple of the American reggae scene, and Slightly Stoopid & Co are bringing this experience free to the masses this Saturday (8/14) at 6 pm MT and Sunday (8/15) at 4:25 pm MT with a live stream benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Last Prisoner Project.

JahVision recently released a music video for his song Expose, and the singer’s passionate lyrics and beautiful delivery are on display. Expose was released by I Vision Records and the music video was directed by Behind The Eye.

E.N Young recently released a new shirt with a throwback ‘strictly roots vinyl mix’ tape cassette design. The artist and producer said in an email to Dailyreggae.com, “When I was kid my brother Mike (Strictly Roots) and I hunted for new reggae (vinyl, cds, downloads) and we would make mix tapes to bump on the go! I had stacks of mix tapes and they were vibes!!”

Another week is upon us and a fun way to start it is by listening to Drumwise’s incredible new Reflection Riddim album featuring reggae stars and bands Through The Roots, Inna Vision, The Steppas, Suckarie, and Jemere Morgan. Drumwise is the stage name for reggae musician and producer Calvin Canha, who dropped the riddim on July 30th via Greenstone and his new Drumwise label. Other artists featured include Siaosi, Peetah Morgan, and Chante.

Edley Shine has released a new music video for his fun song Glow Party. If you’re headed to hang with family and friends this weekend turn this one up to get the party started! Glow Party is the fifth song on Shine’s 2020 EP, Based on Talent.

Tempe, Arizona-based heavy hitters Katastro bring their unique genre-melding sound to San Diego's one and only Music Box! The band is touring in support of their new album Sucker released in 2021. The album is a great ride during which Katastro uses groovy rhythms, well-produced beats, catchy melodies, hip hop flows, and instrumentation reminiscent of the legendary band Dirty Heads. Expect them to bring the hype on August 12th!

Ahead of their new album, Castles, which drops August 13, Boston-based reggae band, The Elovaters released Gardenia featuring Stick Figure. Gardenia is a really awesome song with an irie bass line and such a cool vibe! Wake up this morning by jamming to the single, which according to The Elovaters’ Facebook page was co-written with Stick Figure’s Scott Woodruff and frequent Stick Figure collaborator, TJ O'Neill.

In her song Dream Come True, Ana Vee sings, “You bring the sunshine on cloudy days” and her music does exactly that. We love the Hawaiin singer’s self-titled EP, Ana Vee, released in June 2021. Take a trip to the islands by listening to the five-song EP, and you’ll love her voice, catchy melodies, and the island reggae vibes.

Iya Terra released their new album, Ease & Grace, and we have been jamming out to it all weekend! Ease & Grace follows up the band’s 2019 album, Coming To Light, and beautifully showcases their incredible reggae riddims, shredding guitars, and songwriting. Ease & Grace features reggae superstars including Steel Pulse, Tribal Seeds, Stick Figure, Mike Love, and Alborosie.
