It’s always fun to hear a new rendition of one of our favorite reggae classics! Stick Figure and Johnny Cosmic have teamed up to bring an irie, dub-infused version of Bob Marley’s song Sun Is Shining to life.

In a post on the band’s website, Stick Figure said, “Keeping the summer vibes alive with a Stick Figure rendition of a reggae classic by Bob Marley. This has always been one of our favorite covers to play live on tour. Huge thanks to all the players who got involved.”

Sun Is Shining is such a wonderful song, and we love hearing Stick Figure’s take on the classic. The band does a great job with the riddim, guitar, and drums. Johnny put some killer vocals on the track.

Johnny Cosmic said in a post on his Instagram, “My brother Scott Woodruff and I have been jamming this live for awhile. Stick went into the studio and made a sick beat for it. Honored to get a chance to sing on it. And be joined by some other great musicians Van Gordon Martin, Glenn Holdaway, Quinn Carson, and Liam Robertson.”

Sun Is Shining by Stick Figure and Johnny Cosmic is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
