J Boog and The Green inspire us to “Never Give Up” and to reach for our dreams. This track from the Cali Roots Riddim 2023 is very powerful and is a great reminder to put our best foot forward each day while reaching for goals.

Nine to Fyah’s “Let the Light In” is a reminder to open your heart. This single is absolutely gorgeous and is one of my favorite reggae rock tracks of the year. The song shares an important message about loving our journey, letting healing begin, and opening ourselves to new love and experiences.

Julian Marley and Antaeus’ album, “Colors Of Royal” inspire a fresh outlook on life in eight dance friendly tracks. I am absolutely loving this collaboration and the beautiful songs that Marley and Antaeus have brought to life that cross the reggae, electronic, dancehall and pop music genres

Get the party start with Common Kings’ “Celebration (One Shot)”. These reggae rockers always bring so many chill vibes, and I’m so excited to jam out to their new album, “Celebration” due out Aug. 25 via Island Empire / Mensch House Records.

New Zealand’s Canaan Ene teams with Hawai'i legend Kapena in a fresh take on “Down Under”. This is such an iconic song by Men At Work, and I’m really enjoying this new reggae style update to the jam.

Blvk H3ro’s “Annabella” ft. Dre Island is my favorite H3ro track to date. The single released by Delicious Vinyl Island / BHM was producd by Soko7 and is getting me super excited for H3ro’s “On A Mission” album due out this August.

Feel chill vibes year round with Vana Liya’s new single, “Summer Soul”, which was dropped in the perfect time to mellow us out all summer long! The talented singer-songwriter teamed up with Johnny Cosmic on the track’s production, and LAW Records released the song.

Push heartbreak aside with 77 Jefferson’s new single, “Dead Wrong”. I love the mellow vibes of the reggae rocker’s new track and of course you know Joel Castillo always lays down super smooth vocals.

Ballyhoo!’s “Clip My Wings” is a reminder to be free and follow your dreams. Howi Spangler is absolutely one of the best song writers in reggae rock today and I love this song and its message to push haters away.

Push all those thoughts away and “Learn To Let Go” with Paul Izak. Izak is such a great song writer and this is absolutely one of my favorite new tracks out this summer. I love the message about taking time to slow down and truly getting to know yourself.

Get lost for the day and jam along with The Green’s new single, “Summertime”. This is the perfect summer jam to throw on to start your day with energy, or as you get your next road trip on the move.

Dukes Of Roots and Darius Rucker honor overcoming oppression and injustice in the powerful single, “John Punch”. According to a release, the song “explores the story of the first slave in the United States and the injustices he faced.” The song is the fourth single dropped ahead of the band’s debut album due out later this year and is yet another example of reggae music’s power to highlight important societal topics and history.

No matter where you live, it's clear that summer is upon us and the music scene is in full swing. Santa Cruz’s, The Expendables, decided to participate in the sizzling “summer release” program with their newest addition, “Pleasure Point” via Ineffable Records.

Major kudos to the Sugarshack Music Channel team on the new live music restaurant, Sugarshack Downtown, opening in Bonita Springs next year! The Sugarshack team does so much for good for the reggae community and it’s so cool they are bringing this epic venue to Southwest Florida!
