Ireland’s Weedway reflects on the early days of love in “Because Of You”.

The Dublin-based band showcases its big time sound in this track and I especially love listening to the smooth vocals, impressive guitar work, and feeling the group’s energy.

The single drops ahead of the band’s debut album, “A Shedsworth”, which I’m so excited to listen to!

The band reflected on the track in a post on their Bandcamp page: “This little ditty laments the days of awakening. When love first blossoms, & the butterflies rise to a point of tummy ache, anytime she is close. Eating & sleeping become unnecessary under the magnifying influence of St. Valentine as homework is ignored & grades fail as your world revolves around her.”

Weedway does a great job of brining these feelings to life and you’ll feel their thoughtful lyrics.
