Gramps Morgan, the GRAMMY Award winner affectionately known as the King of Country Reggae, is about to hit the road with his brand-new “No Water in My Whiskey Tour.” The U.S. run kicks off Friday, September 26, 2025 at Brooklyn’s historic Crown Hill Theatre — a city that holds deep personal meaning for Gramps.

Daily Reggae had the chance to catch up with Gramps ahead of the tour, and he shared why kicking things off in Brooklyn is so special:

“It’s always a special feeling performing in Brooklyn. It is the city of my birth and where I grew up after I left high school, so lots of memories — the culture in the melting pot of the Caribbean as well as Africa — so it feels like home.”

The tour is named after his latest single “No Water in My Whiskey”, a symbolic anthem about preserving good vibes and keeping life pure. Fans can also expect Gramps to revisit gems from across his catalog.

“Some of the songs I’m looking to perform are ‘No Water in My Whiskey,’ ‘Islander,’ ‘Wash the Tears,’ and ‘If You’re Looking for Me.’ People hardly get a chance to hear those songs.”

And while Gramps isn’t revealing all the details, he hints at surprises on stage.

“Absolutely [there will be special guests] — but people will have to just come, show up, get their tickets early, and see what happens. In reggae, anything is possible.”

Audiences can expect heartfelt storytelling, uplifting anthems, and the signature energy that makes a Gramps Morgan performance unforgettable.

🎟 Early Bird Tickets start at $60 (limited availability).
