Feel the soul of Dubbest in the heartfelt new track “Autumn Rain”

Feel the soul of Dubbest in the heartfelt new track “Autumn Rain”. Daily Reggae caught up with Dubbest’s Ryan Thaxter to learn more about the band’s evolving sound and the track’s message.

“This song means alot to us. On one level, it represents a major shift in Dubbest’s sound, venturing into a new genre: soul. We have been a band for 16 years and this is our first non-reggae track - it’s very exciting. We plan on mixing more soul in to our catalog.”

Thaxter adds, “On a lyrical level, it's a sad love song about confusion or disagreement - when you can’t shake a feeling. “Winter stays lingering with me on an autumn day. And when it rains, feels like snow hitting a foggy pain.”
