Summertime 2023 Tour openers ,The Movement, wrapped up their high energy set and thanked Dallas for jamming with them as the house music took over the speakers, signaling the bar-and-bathroom break intermission to commence and for the next act to get ready for battle.
After the short break, Atmosphere frontman, Slug, strolled out from stage right as the LED wall lit up on Ant’s soundlab station with swirls of orange, yellow and red patterns. The lyrics started flowing and their set was underway.
The scorching sun hadn’t quite made its way out of the sky yet and kept it sizzling for the concertgoers, however the crowd was so interactive during the whole performance, it seemed they didn’t mind. Singing back up to them everytime the mic aimed their way, everyone definitely made them feel the energy back on stage.
Their incredible performance lasted a little less than an hour, plenty of time to pump out all the favorites and remind the crowd that God loves ugly! The delivery was as polished as ever and they sounded exceptional through the PA system at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory.
Atmosphere has some of the most unparalleled storytelling skills out there, with many of the lyrical pros in the game all teamed up with them in the Rhymesayers crew. They always makes party in Dallas, and it's always a flawless show when they stop in!
