Summer is in full swing, and what’s better than throwing your feet up and turning on your favorite reggae songs? Legendary reggae band Sublime’s music catalog is so deep that I recently found myself grooving to their unique reggae rock sound all afternoon long.

Here are 5 Sublime songs perfect for summer. So, turn these up, and let the relaxation set in!

Santeria: As soon as that classic guitar riff kicks in and Eric Wilson’s grooving bass line drops, the summer vibes arrive! I love Bradley Nowell’s voice in this track, which is truly one of the best reggae rock songs of all time!

What I Got: Whether you’re starting your morning with some zen or are setting up your summer bbq playlist, What I Got is a jam! I love the genre blend on this song that mixes in reggae, rock, hip hop in such a rad way.

Smoke Two Joints: When the day is clear and you’re looking for some extra mediation, turn this one up loud! Sublime’s music is so freeing and everyone loves singing along to Bradley’s lyrics in this fan favorite.

Doin’ Time: Bradley’s first lyric in the song is appropriately “Summetime”, and the sunny feel and good vibes take over once you turn it on. Talk about a great song for a late afternoon joy ride or stroll at the beach!

Badfish: This has always been one of my favorite Sublime songs to bust out a few six strings and jam along with my friends! Badfish is a Sublime song that you’ll play all summer along and extend the mellow vibes throughout the seasons.
