Meet Surfer Girl’s Carter Reeves and go behind the music of “Midnight”

Surfer Girl’s Carter Reeves gave Daily Reggae a glimpse into the creative process behind the band’s amazing new album, Midnight.

Reeves shared how Midnight represents the fourth and final chapter in Surfer Girl’s musical journey from Sunrise to Noon to Sunset, while embracing a darker and moodier sound. He also opened up about the album’s collaborative songwriting process, working closely with Jack Pavlina, Bobby Krak and Sam Callahan, and shared stories behind songs including “Winter In New England,” “Easy Tiger” and “Smoked Out.”
