EP Review: The Goodies hit all the right notes while connecting reggae and pop

The Goodies hit all the right notes while connecting reggae and pop in their debut self-titled EP, and wow does the new music sound good!

Now you may have watched one of the San Diego duo’s jamming videos on social media, or be a long time fan of Jus Goodie (Justin Goodman), either way I love what The Goodies are doing and expect many big things ahead!

Let’s start off with the opening track, “The Maze”. You’ll immediately be brought in by the irie bass line and Justin’s vocals. I really relate to this song’s message of finding balance and peace. The guitar solo also adds a nice touch!

Justin and Zan compliment each other’s vocals so well, and the track “All The Love We Bring” showcases this in a major way.

This is such a lovely song and it’s perfect for any time of day. So turn it up while drinking your morning coffee, biking around town, or enjoying family dinner.

Covering a classic like The CarsYou Might Think” is no easy task, and especially giving it a reggae vibe. This is exactly what The Goodies accomplished, and I’d love to see them perform this jam live!

Zan’s voice and strength shines in “Runnin”, an upbeat track that can help inspire a new road ahead. Add this one to your road-trip playlist asap!

The Goodies are brining a unique sound to the reggae scene, and I’m super excited to continue following their musical journey! Make sure to give them a follow and catch a live set soon!
