Album Review: SOJA returns with another gem of an album in “Without Surrender”

SOJA is a band that’s driven many highways as they’ve toured the world and those years of experience have rightly earned them reggae fans around the globe. They continue releasing some of their best music yet and I’m loving their new album, “Without Surrender”.

I really appreciate how the band has stayed true to their sound while evolving. Having both Jacob Hemphill and Trevor Young as vocalists adds a new element that I think strengthens their creativity and keeps fans wanting more. I love these songs so much!

The LP has 14 tracks and includes some fantastic features including Maoli, HIRIE, Iration, Kabaka Pyramid and The Elovaters.

SOJA does a fantastic job covering so many important topics in their music from keeping it positive, prioritizing love to inspiring fans to fight through obstacles to become the best versions of themselves. 

My favorite songs on the album are “We All Need Love”, “Water”, “Catching Up To You” and World That We’re Livin In”.

SOJA is one of the greatest reggae rock bands of all time and this album is another award winning masterpiece.
