Sensamotion’s reggae rock sound is uplifting. The Atlantic City, New Jersey rockers’ new album, “Life in True Color” shines a light on the ups and downs of life. It reminds us of a colorful walk down the AC boardwalk taking in the emotions and celebrating the beauty around us. In the album, Sensamotion brilliantly infuses reggae, rock and dub. The band shows off their guitar chops, song writing, and on-point grooves.

Those ups and downs we all face are never easy and the band reminds us to not stress the little things in the beautiful song, “Take It Easy”. This is a song that you’ll be humming and singing along to by the second verse.

We love the catchy drum beat in “Lifted Spirits” and Sensamotion shows off their powerful vocals in this tune. They sing about falling, but finding a way to be lifted back up even stronger! We love this important message.

The album’s title track “Life in True Color” is a reminder to stay the course, to not give up on your dreams, and to have faith that good things are to come. We’d love to hear the band play this track during a live set!

”Life in True Color” is full of catchy melodies and harmonies. Sensamotion brings conscious music to life and greets us with arms wide open in the gorgeous song, “Thank You”. It’s a song that makes us think of community and the importance of keeping an open mind and to be willing to make new friends even when you’re not expecting to.

In “Take a Breath” Sensamotion touches on love and the beauty of loving and depending on your significant other.

“Life in True Color” spotlights Sensamotion’s skill as a band and their impressive ability to profile emotions in catchy songs while sending a message of inspiration and encouragement. We see so much greatness ahead for the band and will be turning up this album often!

Thank You” by Sensamotion is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
