King Tappa is a talented reggae artist based in New Jersey who consistently releases engaging reggae that makes you reflect while dancing to the music. Tappa showcases hard work mentality and smooth vocals in the new album, “9 to 5”.

Tappa kicks the album off with the title track “9 to 5”, a song about hustling and standing up for yourself when it comes to earning a paycheck for your family. The track has cool instrumentation and King Tappa’s voice sounds amazing over the riddim.

I love the hook in “Are You Feeling It”, a tribute to reggae music. King Tappa’s passion for reggae is felt strongly as he celebrates reggae’s worldwide appreciation.

In “Freedom” King Tappa covers the important topic of equal rights and and making our voices heard! Tappa’s lyrics are inspiring and his voice is compelling.

Lost in Thoughts” highlights King Tappa’s visual lyrics and storytelling and is one of my favorite songs on the album. He takes us on a journey into the past while being thankful for what’s ahead.

King Tappa’s love of reggae music is on full display in “Reggae Music”. This is a fun song that reggae fans will all love and connect with!

Tappa pushes away drama in “No Drama” a song about focus and turning negativity away.

Cinderella” celebrates love found and will get you dancing on your feet. King Tappa’s “9 to 5” is his best work yet. Turn up this new reggae album and you’ll be inspired to focus on positivity.
